Beaver Valley Heat Treating is an independently-owned steel heat treating facility.

Located in Monaca, PA, 25 miles northwest of Pittsburgh along the Ohio River, BVHT is easily accessible via Route 51 and Interstate 376. The company operates under the direction of President Michael Pitterich, who has owned it since 1992, and Eric Withers, who has been with BVHT for 24 years and served as GM for the past 18.

Diverse Capabilities

At its 90,000 square foot plant in the heart of Monaca’s industrial district, BVHT features both radiant tube and direct fire roller hearth furnaces. Its thermal heat treating capabilities include annealing, normalizing, and stress relieving. Additional services include the straightening of rounds, flats, and squares; cleaning processes such as shot-blasting; plus oiling, saw cutting, hardness testing, and metallographic testing.
